I'm backtracking

Obama will win. Palin is a lump of coal (who can see Russia!). She'll guarantee McCain's loss. What a daft choice. Who knew she was so clueless on everything?

She's debating Biden tonight. Wish I could stay up that late to watch. Will be fine entertainment.

The Doctor.

Yeah, i was shocked when he announced his running mate because it looked like a ridiculous choice, but then his stock went up and i was reminded of how fucking stupid the seppos are. Anyway, now the pigs lipstick is rubbing off, but still, there is a long time until the elections, and Palins weaknesses will only make the Republicans fight harder and nastier.

I saw a bit of the debate online, and i thought she did ok. She certainly spoke with more authority on the things she knows vokkol about, but he did seem to be the most experienced speaker. She kept spouting off kak about 'the terrorists who hate our freedom' which made me want to vomit, but that shit speaks to people with no brains who read tabloids for news.

Would have been good if Biden had made her cry, but whatever.

Ja, I think the republicans thought that they could hide her ignorance and just use her as some sort of icon, but then whoops.... we've got a banking crisis, and people are starting to ask tricky questions. But Greg you're right, if she's as dumb as the electorate, she might say what they want to hear.

I take comfort in Dr Phil's forecast.

The bar had been lowered so far before this debate anything she said would have looked like an improvement. So I don't think the Republicans are any better off just because she didn't screw up. And Biden managed to entertain her without making her look like a fool, so he's still with the common man vibe sort of thing.

But the baiting of the far right won the last two elections, and that constituency is near impossible to predict. And Dubbya is as dof as Palin. But I don't know if that's enough this time. Hell McCain's education and general middle ground-ness on social issues might end up being the big problem!

anyone watching jon stewart's daily show...?
brilliant stuff.
they did this mock scene where the chick from the flight of the chonchords c\decides she wants to take over the daily show, she sets up shop despite protests, embarrases herself when she has no idea how to interview someone and then gets told jon has died and that she must now run the show.
very funny stuff...
