Good News on WAD in RSA... Sorry to blog, but its hot news in the office and I reckon should be everywhere. These changes are long overdue, yes... but very exciting to see them being brought in as policy for April 2010.
Provided these changes can be managed properly this will have significant effects on prolonging lives!

In all seriousness, it's good news indeed. And loooong overdue as you say. But I still won't forgive Zuma for Simelane.
Ja, i'm torn. Good that hes said it, but kind of pissed that he's getting kudos for saying what should have been said many, many years ago. Should we be congratulating him for doing the right thing? Maybe. Maybe not.
My feeling - the point is not that it was Zuma saying these things (given showergate its all a bit weird anyhow) but that they are not government policy and law - something the likes of TAC have been fighting for for a long time.
