Ja, i'm all for the facelift, but i still think joumaseblog might have run its course. If people have stopped checking the blog, then it will take a lot to get them to come back, and then a LOT more coaxing to get people to start posting again... I blame faceshit.
tragic, and I am very sad. But my single person rebellion has been fighting losing battles on every front so I guess it is to be expected. 5 years is pretty good going tho? I may have to start something new... could you send out a mail to all if you do kill it?
I feel your pain. 5 years is a good run though, especially in the fickle, throwaway world of the interwebs and 'social networking' blechh. I could see a way to maybe make jousameblog survive a little longer though... if we could link it to everyone elses online activity we could turn it into a hub of updates about our friends (centralising this info has its risks however).
Alex is a serial twitterer, as is Philimon, and we could have their twitter feeds (and others) displayed in a window on the right hand panel. Live links to other peoples blogs (like me new braai blog, for instance) could also happen. It could be a (to misuse a wanky newtech term) mashup of all our friends web activity.
I cant promise this will save it, but it might prolong the death rattle.

I wanted to post my new years post! but yes, it seems all the other distractions have managed to trump our dear blog :(
I would like to start a campaign to resurrect it~ perhaps a new look n feel for a new year?

I don't tweet much. It gets boring real quick.
And besides Grek just admit it - you have met another blog and are officially cheating on jouma.
Greggles' infidelity aside - maybe a bit of feeding and jazzing up may be good for a bit?
Enought said, don't you agree....
