I'm loving the tame impala album at the moment. They are from Perth but don't hold that against them.
Also, I know you like the Arcade Fire, so check this website out... you have to download Google Chrome first (the new browser) but its worth it. Takes a while to load (make sure everything else is shut down), but it will blow you away... http://www.thewildernessdowntown.com/
